Creating a Blog: Zero to Hero, Starting from Scratch

starting a blog

So you have chosen to start a blog. Starting a blog is an amazing yet daunting choice. If you commit and see it through to the end you will accomplish something that is potentially life changing. After creating my initial 2 anonymous blogs that have become successfully earning. I decided that I wanted to do something a little different from the rest of the crowd. That is, website and content creation. Once I succeeded it led me to want to write about blog creation and making money online. What’s different from everyone is, I’m providing it completely FREE. Right here. Most others would put a small paywall to some of this info, but I want you to be able to start with no monetary excuses holding you back.

Below, I have created an 11 part blog post that will cover the creation of a blog from beginning to end, AND I’m going to post them all for everyone to use and refer back to. Each section will be a separate post and I’ll include new ones daily so keep checking back. I will be putting together an e-book that compiles this whole blog category into one place. I’ll have that available soon!

Why Most Blogs Fail (And Why Yours Won’t)

Before we dive into the technical “how-to,” we need to address the elephant in the room. Every day, thousands of people click “Create Site,” and every day, thousands of those same people give up before they ever see a dime. They fail because they treat blogging like a diary rather than a digital asset.

When I started my first two anonymous blogs, I didn’t have a roadmap. I spent months shouting into the void, wondering why my traffic looked like a flatline on a heart monitor. But once I cracked the code on Search Intent and User Value, everything changed. My “side project” became a revenue stream that works while I sleep.

That is the shift I want you to make today. You aren’t just “writing posts”; you are building a content machine.

The Barrier to Entry is Lower Than You Think

You might be sitting there thinking, “I’m not a tech genius” or “The market is too crowded.” Let me be the first to tell you: Good. A crowded market is a proven market. It means there is money to be made. The reason most people never make it is that they get paralyzed by “Option Fatigue.” They spend weeks picking a font and zero hours writing content that actually helps people. By providing this 11-part series for free, I’m removing the “I can’t afford a course” excuse. Now, the only thing standing between you and a successful blog is execution.

The “Alex Hormozi” Approach to Blogging

I mentioned Alex Hormozi earlier because his philosophy changed my perspective on business: Give away the ‘How,’ sell the ‘Implementation.’ In this series, I am giving you the “How” for $0. Why? Because I know that if I help you win, the community we build here becomes more valuable than any $497 course I could ever sell you. We are playing the long game.

Blogging is one of the few business models left where the overhead is practically zero, but the ceiling is nonexistent. You are essentially buying “lottery tickets” where the odds increase every time you hit publish.

What You Can Expect from This Journey

This isn’t going to be a “get rich by Tuesday” scheme. If you’re looking for that, there are plenty of gurus with rented Lamborghinis who will gladly take your money.

Instead, over the next 11 days, we are going to build a foundation. We’re going to talk about:

  • Asset Creation: Treating every blog post like a piece of real estate.

  • The Power of Compounding: How a post you write today can pay your rent three years from now.

  • Psychology of the Reader: Why people click, why they stay, and why they buy.

A Promise to Yourself

Before you scroll down to the Table of Contents, I want you to make a mental commitment. Don’t just read Section 1 and stop. Information without action is just entertainment. If you are serious about changing your financial trajectory, commit to finishing all 11 steps.

The secrets I’m sharing—the ones people usually hide behind paywalls—are only “secrets” because most people are too lazy to follow through on them. You’ve already taken the first step by being here. Now, let’s get your hands dirty.

Table of Contents

For a more simplistic browsing experience and easy navigation I put a table of contents with each section having a link to its blog post below:

Now that everything is in order I feel it is time to get started as we have a lot of material to cover. Over the next 11 sections you’re going to be given secrets that many experts will charge you $100’s for or even more. I don’t believe in creating that paywall to life changing information. A lot of my inspiration and motivation for this website comes from others who believe in making information easily accessible as well. For example, Alex Hormozi, I take inspiration and motivation from the content he freely makes available. Along with a few others.
